Team Eternity Ghana Explains Why They Failed To Perform At 2024 TGMA.

 

Team Eternity Ghana, a popular gospel music group, failed to perform at the 25th Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) as scheduled. The group's absence from the event, held at the AICC, surprised and disappointed fans and audience members who had been looking forward to their performance.

 In a statement released on their X page on June 2, Team Eternity Ghana attributed their non-participation to "unforeseen circumstances beyond their control. The group expressed their regret and unhappiness with the unforeseen turn of events, but did not provide further details. “We are deeply saddened that, unfortunately, we are unable to perform at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) as scheduled. Despite our best efforts and excitement to share this special moment with you,” portions of the statement read.

 “We understand the disappointment and we sincerely regret any inconvenience this may have caused,” the Group added.

Songstress ,Amaarae also withdrew from performing at the 25th Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) just hours before the event. Amaarae stated that she felt disrespected after being denied a rehearsal the night before the show. She wanted to deliver her best performance, not a subpar one. The singer had rearranged her schedule to accommodate the TGMA, even changing the date of her Primavera show. She flew her team of ten from Barcelona to Ghana for the event. Amaarae expressed her disappointment, stating that she had always wanted to perform at the Ghana Music Awards, but not under these circumstances.

 “For 3 years now, I have tried so hard to perform at the Ghana Music Awards. Their CEO and my Management have worked hard to make it happen and finally we were able to align this year – only for my team to be completely ignored and frustrated by their production manager. GHANA!
